Makers of solid oak beams and timber fire surrounds, built in their own factory in York. They also make FocusCast — a non-combustible cast beam that looks like timber or stone but can sit closer to a stove than real oak.

A single solid beam above a slate chamber — the simplest way to give a stove a mantel.
Solid oak
Every beam is cut from one piece, so the grain, the knots and the shakes are unique to it.
FocusCast
A non-combustible cast beam with the look of timber or stone — it can sit closer to a stove than real oak, which matters in a shallow opening.
Barkston
A dark timber surround with square posts, shown against a split-stone chamber.
Beamish
A rustic beam and posts in a mid-brown finish — the most cottage-like of the four.
Gatsby
Heavier timber with shaped corbels under the mantel, over a lit stone chamber.
Lichfield
Painted rather than timber — a classic moulded surround for a more traditional room.
Kensington
From the Prestige range — a painted surround with a stepped mantel, shown in white. Solid oak, pine or any paint colour.
Olivia
Prestige range, shown in waxed oak with a midnight back panel and hearth. A 55in mantel, so it suits a wider chimney breast.
