Coronavirus Procedures
Our team all adhere to strict protocols when servicing gas fires. If you are in a vulnerable group or have someone in your household who is we can work with you to take special steps to make sure our engineer does not come into contact with them. Even if you are not in a vulnerable group our technician will wear a mask, clean gloves and will maintain a minimum of 2 meters distance where possible. They will also be washing hands and changing PPE between jobs. Getting your gas fire serviced is essential, so we make every effort to allow you to get your fire checked while minimising any risk of infection.
Gas Fire Servicing
It is important to get your gas fire serviced annually. While modern units are certainly very reliable we still recommend everything is checked once a year. The potential issues with a gas fire not working properly can be serious. Our experienced team work are available for gas fire servicing across Surrey any time of the year.

Gas Fire Repairs
In some cases, a gas fire can break down, in the winter this can be a real problem. We are on hand to repair gas fireplaces right across Surrey from major towns like Guildford to smaller villages and more remote locations. We will do our very best to repair and replace parts, but we can also advise on a replacement fire and install one of the existing appliances is beyond repair.
Gas Fire Safety Check
If you have just moved into a new home and there is an existing gas fire with no record of a service we can come and do a safety check before use. We would advise having a full service but there are times when customers simply need to make sure a fireplace is safe.

Our gas technicians are Gas Safe registered and HETAS accredited so you can rest assured we are not only polite and friendly we are also very well qualified to service, repair and look after your gas fireplace.
What Time of Year is Best?
While we have had some nice warm summers over the last few years, Surrey isn’t blessed with a tropical climate. Come the autumn, people start to think about putting the fire on. It is normally at this time they think about booking a service. We have a big team of technicians but even then there is sometimes a small wait for a slot. We would recommend thinking about getting your fire serviced before it is time to use it. Late summer is a great time, or even before! However, no matter what time of the year we will make sure we get to you and if you are a vulnerable person please let us know, and we will do everything we can do prioritise you.
